What are Dermal Fillers?

As we age, our skin will lose volume, elasticity and becomes less hydrated. This process can cause unwanted lines and wrinkles and sagging skin. Dermal fillers can effectively add volume and plump up your skin, decrease lines and wrinkles and increase hydration.

How do they work?

Youthful skin is rich in Hyaluronic acid (HA) – a molecule naturally present in the dermis that binds water, hydrates the skin and promotes softness and fullness of the skin. But as we age, the HA in our skin gradually becomes less efficient and leads to loss of volume and the tell-tale signs of ageing.

Dermal fillers all made from biodegradable Hyaluronic acid and when injected can restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases or enhance facial contours.

How long do dermal fillers last?

What does the procedure involve?

Prior to your treatment a thorough consultation and medical history is required to assess your suitability for treatment.
