How Does Sunekos® Work?

As we age, levels of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid naturally decline. This can lead to thinner skin, fine lines, crepiness, dehydration and loss of elasticity.

Sunekos® combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids to stimulate the skin’s natural regenerative processes and encourage the production of new collagen and elastin.
This helps improve hydration, elasticity, firmness and overall skin quality from within.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sunekos® is not designed to reshape or volumise the face. Improvements develop gradually, leaving the skin looking fresher, healthier and naturally rejuvenated.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

For optimum results, a course of 3–4 treatments is usually recommended.

The number of treatments required will depend on your skin quality, age, treatment area and individual concerns and will be discussed during your consultation.

Some patients begin to notice improvements in hydration and skin freshness following their first treatment. Results continue to develop progressively as collagen and elastin production increases.

Maintenance treatments can then be carried out to help prolong the results.

What Does the Treatment Involve?

Following consultation and assessment, Sunekos® is injected precisely into the areas requiring rejuvenation using a fine needle.
Treatment is relatively quick and generally well tolerated.
Small bumps, redness, tenderness, swelling or occasional bruising may occur around the injection sites following treatment.

These effects are temporary and usually settle within a few days.
Most patients can return to their normal daily activities shortly afterwards.
